Mérida, Yucatán, México Intangibles Talent A tiempo completo

Location: Merida, Mexico

Department: Construction / Project Management

Type: Full-Time

Salary: $26,000 - $28,000 MXN (depends on the experience)

About the Role

This role bridges field reporting, drawings, and contractual scope to ensure accurate billing, timely identification of remaining work, and early recognition of scope changes. This is not a traditional estimator or assistant project manager role.

We are looking for a highly proactive and outgoing professional with a strong ability to anticipate challenges and solve problems before they arise. The ideal candidate is curious, eager to continue learning, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role requires someone who enjoys taking ownership, communicating confidently with different stakeholders, and continuously improving processes while adapting to evolving project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review demolition drawings, revisions, addenda, and scope documents
  • Perform high-level progress takeoffs (directional accuracy ~80% is acceptable)
  • Reconcile superintendent-reported activity with drawings and contractual scope
  • Track new or revised drawings and identify changes impacting scope or sequencing
  • Summarize drawing changes in clear written narratives (what changed and why it matters)
  • Assist in developing time-and-material style change estimates using labor, equipment, and disposal assumptions
  • Identify partial completions, remaining work, and remobilization risks
  • Communicate with field superintendents to clarify scope, locations, and completion status
  • Provide billing readiness and change-impact summaries to project management prior to invoicing
  • Perform any other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the construction industry (demolition, concrete, interiors, or similar trades)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction and demolition drawings
  • Experience with progress tracking, quantity takeoffs, or field coordination
  • Working knowledge of labor, equipment, and disposal costs used in time-and-material work
  • Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong written communication skills with ability to produce clear, concise narratives
  • Comfort communicating with field personnel and asking clarifying questions
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Deliverables

  • Weekly progress reconciliation summary for each active project
  • Narrative explanation of completed vs remaining scope
  • Billing recommendation (percentage complete with explanation)
  • Drawing change summaries with scope impact notes
  • Preliminary time-and-material change estimates (labor, equipment, disposal assumptions)
  • Risk flags for potential remobilizations, missed scope, or under-billing

Why should you be part of our Talented Team?

  • 5 Days Work-week.
  • Legal Benefits: IMSS, Infonavit, Aguinaldo, Prestaciones.
  • We will give you the tools you need to make your work happen
  • We will always promote a work-balance culture.
