Become an EXpert as a Paid Media Specialist (Mercado Libre Ads)

At EX Squared LATAM, we partner with innovative, digital-first companies to build high-impact remote teams across Latin America. We're looking for a Paid Media Specialist to support the growth and performance of a leading retail account by managing and optimizing campaigns within Mercado Libre Ads (México).

If you enjoy hands-on campaign execution, solving technical challenges, and using data to drive meaningful performance improvements, this role is an excellent fit.

What You'll Do
  • Execute and optimize Mercado Libre Ads campaigns:

    Build, QA, deploy, and adjust campaigns to ensure proper pacing, delivery, and alignment with performance goals.
  • Monitor performance and identify optimization opportunities:

    Analyze campaign behavior in-platform, uncover insights, and apply optimization levers to improve ROI.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues:

    Investigate and resolve platform or campaign errors, supporting a smooth and efficient workflow across all executions.
  • Translate planning inputs into structured builds:

    Implement campaign setups based on predefined planning guidelines and maintain accuracy across all components.
  • Develop reporting and insights:

    Deliver recurring performance reports, analyze trends, and respond to ad-hoc data requests promptly.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally:

    Work closely with internal team members to maintain operational excellence and continuously improve processes.
What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience running paid media in Mercado Libre Ads (México).
  • Strong understanding of bidding strategies, segmentation, pacing, delivery, and optimization mechanics.
  • Technical comfort troubleshooting platform issues and resolving execution challenges.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data to inform recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Excel and general digital performance tools.
  • High attention to detail, strong organization skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Client-facing experience is a plus, but not required for success in this role.
