Visit our website to learn moreWho will you be working with?The Materials Team is responsible for the management, development, handling of materials to ensure they are suitable, available, and cost-effective for production or a specific project.How will you make a difference?As a member of the materials team, you will be responsible of driving material input/output management and improve on time delivery. Work cross functionally on Internal/External customer orders with commercial and fulfillment teams to understand and manage demandWhat do we want to know about you?Bachelor's Degree and basic supply chain experienceOracle, Excel, Access experienceSupplier management experienceTime management skills, ability to adjust to changing priorities, and meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and communication skillsProactive attitude and a sense of urgency with meeting role objectivesWhat will your typical day look like?The Program Specialist will provide support for major programs from beginning to end. Their main responsibility is to ensure material availability to meet program contract dates.Essential ResponsibilitiesRun material availability analysis and inventory risks before the customer orders are placedWork with CSR/program manager to ensure orders are placed correctly (Schedule dates, quantities, PNs, etc.)Match DRS BOMs with Oracle BOMs and orders to find discrepancies and ensure the BOM changes are translated to Oracle ordersMaintain weekly materials tracker (material status: On hand, Promised on time, Promised > Need)Expedite material for the programs through the planners, buyers and material schedulersMeet weekly for program reviewTrack shipments and escalation on shortagesEnsure material reserves for the right customer orders to meet contractual datesOur Commitment to Embrace Diversity:Wabtec is a global company that invests not just in our products, but also our people by embracing diversity and inclusion.
