Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Software Engineer (L4) to lead the design and implementation of critical services within the Platform Catalog ecosystem. This role combines deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and team mentorship, with a direct impact on large-scale advertising platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of core features and services within the Platform Catalog ecosystem.
  • Drive architectural discussions and propose scalable, best-practice engineering solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services.
  • Apply strong microservices architecture principles to large-scale, highly available distributed systems.
  • Build and maintain real-time data pipelines using Kafka, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and observability across multiple integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Coordinate technical execution: task assignment, goal setting, progress tracking, and resolution of technical challenges.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide production support during incidents and high-traffic promotional events.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of delivering production-grade systems.
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Software architecture
  • Distributed systems
  • API design and integration
  • Advanced proficiency in Java, including debugging and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Microservices-based architectures
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with advertising platforms, real-time data systems, or high-traffic environments.
  • Knowledge of observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing).
  • Experience building highly available and fault-tolerant systems at scale.

Pay: $80, $100,000.00 per month

Experience:
