Plant Controller

Ensure financial control of the plant through proper planning, monitoring, and analysis of operational and financial results. Provide timely and reliable information to support strategic decision-making, while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor, and analyze the plant's annual budget (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Control and supervise production costs, operating expenses, and key financial indicators.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis vs. budget and forecast.
• Implement and monitor savings, productivity, and financial efficiency initiatives in the plant.
• Ensure the application of accounting, tax, and internal control policies.
• Support plant management in decision-making through financial reports and projections.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with requirements.
• Oversee inventories, reconciliations, and valuation of materials and finished goods.
• Collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, and Human Resources to assess the financial impact of projects or operational changes.
• Lead and develop the plant's finance team, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA desirable).
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Advanced English.
• Competencies: leadership, financial analysis, results orientation, and effective communication.
