The Business Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Developing individual project artifacts as necessary including Business Requirements Documentation (BRD's), Functional Requirements Documentation (FRD's), test planning and scenario documents for user acceptance testing (UAT), project plans as required for all key technical deliveries.
  • Day-to-day management of individual project responsibilities including milestone setting, task and actions management, co-ordination and execution of plan within required timelines and to stakeholder quality expectations.
  • Providing implementation / post-implementation project support
  • Foster and maintain relationships with business stakeholders, support, testing and development team members
  • Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience
  • must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to prioritise is key as is ability to juggle several tasks at once.
  • Must work well under pressure whilst, enthusiastic, hard-working and positive
  • Desire to improve processes
  • Advanced working knowledge in the Equities IT space and exposure to Cash Prime Brokerage flows.
  • Track record as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Investment Banking industry.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to facilitate discussions
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
  • Experience of working with Agile Methodologies and Tools.
  • Team player and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
  • Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of the SDLC

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Requerimientos del puesto

Verificar el cumplimiento de los procesos en los proyectos/programas del área y alertar a los equipos de cualquier desviación.
Calificar mensualmente el desempeño y calidad del servicio de las Gerencias (KPIs), incluyendo calidad de la información, entregas y documentación correcta de la información del proyecto.
Gestionar capacitaciones y entrenamientos con las Gerencias y equipos del área, así como la medición de competencias para cada tema revisado.
Coordinar visitas periódicas aleatorias para corroborar calidad en la ejecución de los proyectos y coordinación entre gerencia-proyectista-contratista general-otros

Responsabilidad

Mantener un Control de Proyectos/Programas por equipo con información actualizada mensualmente
Reportar mensualmente los resultados de las revisiones de desempeño y cumplimiento de las gerencias y áreas de oportunidad en los equipos
Integrar en las revisiones de cumplimiento, los resultados reportados por el equipo de Coordinación de Cumplimiento de su revisión periódica a la correcta documentación de los proyectos/programas
Emitir boletines con los alertamientos/desviaciones encontradas en las visitas aleatorias de los proyectos/programas a los equipos para su atención/corrección
Escalar desviaciones del proceso encontradas (documentales y en sitio)
Programar entrenamientos mensuales para reforzar el entendimiento del proceso entre el equipo y medir su dominio del tema 
Búsqueda de mejoras y áreas de oportunidad

Perfil

Licenciatura (construcción) 
Gestión del software MS Office nivel intermedio–avanzado. 
+8 años de experiencia profesional en coordinación de obra/construcción, conocimiento profundo en servicios de gerencia de obra, seguimiento/control de cronogramas y rutas críticas, capaz de interpretar planos con precisión, memorias, especificaciones, materiales y en general, que tenga entendimiento de las diferentes especialidades y su convivencia en la vida de un proyecto.
+5 años de experiencia profesional en administración de proyectos desde contratos de arrendamiento, proceso de diseño, eventos competitivos para servicios, gestoría y obtención de licencias/permisos/contratos de servicios.   
+3 años de experiencia en proyectos del sector bancario, considerando características de seguridad, políticas regulatorias y de cumplimiento.
