Project overview: A modern customer experience platform for government payments, where residents can find services from vehicle registrations and utilities to getting licenses and paying property taxes, all in one place.
- Position overview: We are looking for a talented and experienced .NET Full Stack Software Engineer with a primary focus on C# development, backed by a solid 2+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core and Entity Framework.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in our dynamic team, collaborating with product managers, designers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions tailored to the unique needs of state government agencies.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, CST Time.
Responsibilities: Develop high-quality code for the Client's suite of products.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver software solutions based on specifications.
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces and intuitive user experiences that align with the unique needs of state government agencies.
- Develop robust backend systems, APIs, and services to support front-end applications.
- Perform peer reviews of code written by others.
- Apply best practices to code development, including developing unit tests and applying secure coding techniques.
- Participate in the full development cycle, including implementation, verification, and maintenance of features.
- Work with the scrum team daily.
- Contribute to decisions made on determining effort and complexity.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies.
Requirements: Proven professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, with a focus on C# development with 2+ years of experience in .NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Hands-on experience with React or a similar modern frontend framework.
- Strong experience with SQL Server and database design/development using SQL Server (we are currently in 2019 and greater).
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Solid understanding of source control systems (Git, SVN) and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS, and deploying applications to cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-starter who succeeds by researching solutions and solving problems.
- Experience with RESTful Web Services.
- Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices around ASP.NET and MVC Architectures.
