You'll Support Meaningful Work By:

• Developing plans, applications, and design work based on project needs and providing creative input
• Creating relevant and on-brand design solutions that represent concepts and ideas aligned with the Steelcase portfolio
• Collaborating with internal teams such as product marketing, communications, and visualization to support varied projects
• Translating research insights into conceptual designs and applications for marketing initiatives
• Consulting on internal projects and initiatives to provide design expertise and recommendations
• Planning space layouts and conceptual designs while incorporating knowledge of materials and finishes

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 2–4 years of professional experience developing design proposals, working with materiality, and creating conceptual layouts
• Fluent in spoken and written English at a professional level
• Ability to translate client needs into meaningful applications, design concepts, and presentations following established templates
• Experience collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve design needs
• Knowledge and/or experience with materials (fabrics, paints, architectural finishes)
• Experience modeling simple architectural elements in SketchUp
• Portfolio showcasing relevant design work

Desired Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with Enscape and Veritas
• Knowledge of the global Steelcase portfolio
• Proficiency in pCon, SketchUp, PowerPoint, and Miro
• Experience translating research into design concepts
• Knowledge of generative AI tools
• Mentoring experience
• Previous experience working in an architecture or interior design firm
