We are seeking an Accounting & Finance Manager to lead the company's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial standards, tax requirements, and corporate policies. This role oversees the accounting team, guarantees timely delivery of financial statements, coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and manages tax compliance before government authorities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar accounting positions.
  • General accounting and accounting standards knowledge.
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes experience.
  • ERP or accounting systems experience.
  • Current tax legislation knowledge.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate the accounting team to deliver financial information within corporate deadlines, following NIF, IFRS, and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed expense, cost center, and balance sheet analyses, identifying variances, correcting errors, and ensuring accurate recording of operations.
  • Coordinate accounting meetings, daily activities, and closing processes, ensuring timely issuance of financial statements.
  • Review and validate payments generated by Accounts Payable, ensuring correct accounting, amounts, and payment dates.
  • Provide and manage necessary resources (workspace, equipment, system access) for the accounting team.
  • Perform monthly reviews of revenue, taxes, financial statements, and fiscal documentation, including provisional and monthly submissions (ISR, IVA, DIOT, electronic accounting) to SAT and Secretaría de Economía.
