Reporting to the Director, Operations for Mexico & LATAM, this role is ultimately accountable and responsible of leading, directing and managing the manufacturing site. Manage all productive and non-productive processes ensuring compliance with the key indicators of the operation. It has direct responsibility for the health and safety of all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fulfillment of the mission and vision of the company through the application of values and principles.
  • Oversees the health care and safety of employees.
  • Compliance of the operation communication program.
  • To build an effective work environment for the purpose of meeting employees needs.
  • To identify and develop personnel for an effective succession plan.
  • Responsible for the leadership, direction and site administration based on objectives.
  • Compliance with site performance based on the established key indicators.
  • Team leadership for production efficiency, revenue and product quality.
  • Preparation and fulfillment of the annual budget.
  • Establishment and fulfillment of the production plan against forecast.
  • Implementation and support to the manufacturing processes and continuous improvement programs.

Critical Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Fluent Spanish & English – verbal and written 80% minimum.
  • Knowledge managing manufacturing plants with exposure to Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Production, Product Testing, Materials, and IT departments.
  • Proven managerial skills.
  • Experience implementing and leading continuous improvement programs.
  • Desirable knowledge in manufacturing of electrical transformers.
  • EHS & ISO 9001 knowledge.
  • 5 years of Managerial experience. Desirable 3 years of experience as Plant Manager.
