We are seeking a highly skilled QA Lead Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans to ensure the quality and performance of Mirakl integrations, marketplace features, and associated eCommerce flows. The role requires strong knowledge of eCommerce platforms and API testing.

Contractor position

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements .
  • Design comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression and integration testing.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of workflows, including:
  • Seller onboarding
  • Product listing and catalog synchronization
  • Pricing and inventory updates
  • Order lifecycle (creation, validation, fulfillment, returns, cancellations)
  • Payments and invoicing.
  • Conduct API testing for Mirakl REST APIs (product, order, seller, catalog, pricing).
  • Execute manual and automated test cases and log defects in Jira/ALM or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate with development, business analysts, and integration teams (Commerce, OMS, ERP, etc.).
  • Ensure proper test data management, environment readiness, and test cycle execution.
  • Prepare and maintain test execution reports, defect metrics, and QA sign-off documents.
  • Lead the UAT Track and work closely with customer

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of QA experience,.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • REST APIs testing (Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent).
  • Test case management tools (Jira, Zephyr, HP ALM, TestRail).
  • Defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
  • SQL queries for backend validation.
  • Exposure to integration testing with systems like Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP, OMS, or Payment Gateways.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Exposure to API mocking tools and test data virtualization.
