Position: Digital Transformation Leader

About The Role
As a
Digital Transformation Leader
, you will drive the digitalization of one or more manufacturing sites, actively participating in the plant staff. Your mission is to optimize operational processes through technology, integrate systems, and foster a digital culture that delivers measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the site's digital roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies to enable smart manufacturing.
  • Act as a strategic liaison between local operations and global DT/IT teams.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, and global standards.
  • Promote digital adoption through cultural change and training initiatives.
  • Monitor performance, tracking progress and reporting to leadership.

Experience
Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years in similar roles (Digital Transformation Lead, IT Site Manager, Manufacturing Technology Leader), preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Skills And Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of digital manufacturing technologies (IoT, automation, analytics).
  • Integration of systems: ERP, MES, QMS, PLM.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT) and IIoT integration frameworks.
  • Program/project management and IT governance experience.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Data analysis and KPI tracking tools.
  • Leadership and influence to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Clear and persuasive communication skills.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with finance, supply chain, and operations processes.
  • Ability to document savings and justify technology investments.
