Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist with advanced experience in Cisco infrastructure and security tools. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Cisco Firepower 1050, Cisco ASA5525, and have strong skills in switching, routing, and Access Control Lists (ACLs). Experience with SIEM platforms and operational exposure to XDR, EDR, or MDR is required.

This position is 100% remote, Monday through Friday, and requires availability to handle after-hours incidents when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Administration and operation of Cisco Firepower 1050 and Cisco ASA5525
• Management of Cisco switching and routing with a strong focus on ACLs
• Monitoring and analysis of security events using SIEM systems
• Incident response using XDR, EDR, and/or MDR tools
• Implementation of security policies, segmentation, and access controls
• Documentation of configurations, policies, and processes
• Availability to respond to critical after-hours incidents when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Cisco Firepower 1050
• Proven experience with Cisco ASA5525
• Strong command of Cisco switching, routing, and ACLs
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms
• Experience with XDR, EDR, or MDR

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Windows Server
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP)

Work Model: 100% Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday (incident-based availability required)
