Role Overview
The Finance Project Manager LATAM drives transformative finance initiatives, delivering automation and operational efficiencies across Finance Operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates mastery of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and change management, ensuring sustainable improvements and measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Lead end-to-end execution of finance systems projects, from initiation through completion.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans; track action items, issues, and risks; escalate and resolve promptly.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate proactively with functional leaders, process owners, system users, IT, and business leadership.
Champion change management initiatives to ensure lasting transformation.
Process Automation & Standardization
Identify and implement opportunities for finance process improvement, automation, and standardization.
Leverage data management technologies to minimize manual data extraction, manipulation, and reconciliation.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare business case presentations and reports for stakeholders and senior management.
Translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable communications for diverse audiences.
Process Improvement & Efficiency
Identify and drive opportunities for process and cost efficiencies within Finance functions.
- Ensure Finance processes operate optimally, simplifying workflows and eliminating duplication while balancing risk and control.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with deep finance process and data expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, including scope, financial tracking, scheduling, and resource management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong influencing skills across organizational levels and functions.
- Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; adept at summarizing complex issues for non-financial stakeholders.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or Finance required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Insurance or Finance industry.
- Experience deploying finance applications in multinational environments.
- Proven ability to develop deliverables and reports and communicate technical topics to senior management.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
