Quality Assurance Engineer
who thrives on precision, collaboration, and innovation. This role combines hands-on manual testing (50%) with test automation (50%), using Playwright and emerging AI-driven testing tools. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience. If you enjoy blending structured testing methods with cutting-edge automation practices, this role is for you.
Please note:
you must have at least 5+ years of experience with manual and automation testing and hands-on experience with AI tools for testing to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and backend systems.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in test planning, risk analysis, and defect triage meetings.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
- Apply AI-assisted testing approaches to optimize regression coverage and reduce manual effort.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, frameworks, and coverage.
- Stay up to date with QA trends, especially in automation frameworks and AI applications in testing.
Experience
- 5+ years of QA experience, with a balanced focus on manual and automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or other modern frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
- Experience writing and maintaining test automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript (or Python).
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
- Practical exposure to AI tools for testing (e.g., Testim, Mabl, or AI-based defect prediction/analysis).Solid understanding of version control (Git).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Outstanding communication, and interpersonal skills
- Initiative and drive to do great things
Nice to haves:
- Experience testing cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (K6, JMeter, etc.).
- Background in BDD/TDD frameworks.
- Interest or experience in AI model validation or machine learning testing pipelines.
