About Us

We help construction and home service businesses generate consistent inbound leads by ranking their Google Business Profiles on Google Maps (Map Pack).

This is not blog or content SEO.

Our work is focused on: Maps rankings → inbound calls/forms → booked estimates.

We're hiring a Local SEO Manager to help own and scale our Local SEO fulfillment. You'll work alongside a strong execution-focused SEO specialist and operate within a proven SOP system, while being accountable for prioritization, QA, and outcomes.

Important (Please Read)

This role is Local SEO + Google Business Profile (GBP) focused.

If your background is mainly:

  • Blog/content SEO
  • Ecommerce SEO
  • SaaS or affiliate SEO

You can still apply — but you must be excited to focus on Google Maps rankings and local lead generation, not long-form content.

What You'll Be Doing

This is a player–coach role. You will be close to execution early, while taking increasing ownership over performance and standards.

Google Business Profile (GBP) Management

  • Oversee and QA GBP optimizations (categories, services, descriptions, attributes, products, Q&A, photos, posts)
  • Handle or guide resolution of verifications and suspensions
  • Improve conversion signals (calls, clicks, directions, form submissions)

Local SEO Systems

  • Oversee citation building, cleanup, and NAP consistency
  • Diagnose and resolve listing issues that impact Maps rankings
  • Guide basic on-page local SEO efforts (service pages, internal linking, metadata, schema basics)

Ownership, QA & Reporting

  • Prioritize SEO work across accounts
  • Review ranking data (primary + secondary keywords, heatmaps)
  • Ensure clean documentation so accounts are easy to manage at scale
  • Provide clear weekly updates: what was done, what changed, what's next

Growth & Leadership Track

This is a long-term role with real ownership upside.

High performers can grow by:

  • Improving SOPs and quality control
  • Training and QA'ing new SEO specialists
  • Helping lead Local SEO fulfillment as we scale

Raises and bonuses are performance-based, tied to ownership, quality, reliability, and results.

Required Skills / Traits

  • Solid SEO fundamentals with a desire to specialize in Local SEO / Google Maps
  • Strong understanding of how Maps rankings work (relevance, proximity, prominence)
  • Comfortable auditing and prioritizing work (not just executing)
  • Very strong attention to detail (NAP consistency matters)
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple accounts without dropping steps
  • Clear communicator who flags issues early
  • Reliable computer + internet
  • Long-term mindset (we are building a stable team)

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Prior Local SEO / GBP experience (even 3–12 months is valuable)
  • Citation building / cleanup experience
  • Home services or construction niches (concrete, pavers, roofing, etc.)
  • Experience with tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, Local Falcon, Ahrefs, Semrush
  • Experience dealing with GBP listing issues or suspensions
