Who you are

Are you a dynamic, results-oriented individual? We are seeking a Head of Finance in Mexico. This key leadership position is fundamental to the success of our organization and requires a strong financial background, strategic vision, and excellent accounting and communication skills. You will bring in-depth knowledge of the Mexican Tax Administration Service (SAT), the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), and local tax and regulatory compliance regulations. As the CEO's right-hand person, you will play a crucial role in providing timely financial information to drive strategic decisions and ensure business success.

What you will do

· Financial Strategy and Planning

· Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives

· Collaborate with business leaders to create budgets, forecasts, and financial plans

· Manage cash flow planning and controls, tracking inflows and outflows

· Accounting and Reporting

· Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance

· Deliver timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)

· Review VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and other municipal taxes

· Financial Analysis

· Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

· Provide strategic insights to optimize performance and allocation of resources

· Business Partnership

· Support the General Manager in strategic decision-making

· Act as a financial advisor for business initiatives

· Compliance, Taxes & Risk Management

· Ensure compliance with financial regulations and local standards

· Lead risk management initiatives

· Manage outsourced accounting providers and ensure fiscal best practices

The skills and experience you will bring

· Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

· Master's degree or MBA preferred

· Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role

· Skills and Abilities

· Team leadership and development experience

· Deep knowledge of IMSS, SAT, and Mexican accounting/tax regulations

· Strong financial modeling and forecasting capabilities

· Strategic thinking and analytical mindset

· Ability to support commercial teams with financial decision-making

· Detail-oriented and quality-focused

· Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus)

· Experience in fast-paced, startup environments

· CPA certification is a plus

Sueldo: $90, $120,000.00 al mes
