Sales Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies.

Electrification team and stakeholders.
You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Leading the development and implementation of the account plan and Statement of Work growth actions.
- Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer's business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
- Participating in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans for the customer.
- Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors' activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering, with strong technical expertise in medium-voltage systems, equipment configuration, protection coordination, single-line diagrams, and value-based selling.
- Proven experience managing large corporate accounts in the metals industry, including C-level relationship management and execution of complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated success in closing high-value projects, managing commercial proposals, budget development, and negotiating commercial and legal contract terms.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic account management skills, including account planning, sales forecasting, competitor monitoring, and defining market-aligned pricing strategies.
- Ability to identify customer business drivers and emerging risks (e.g., sustainability, digitalization, cybersecurity) and translate them into growth opportunities within the Electrification portfolio.
- Experience managing accounts in the Monterrey region, with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, resolve customer issues, and ensure customer satisfaction in a hybrid work model.
- Advanced English level.
