Required Profile:

  • More than 5 years of experience in a similar position within the electronics industry.
  • Advanced English proficiency (communication with global teams).
  • Knowledge and experience in sourcing, negotiation, and inventory control.
  • SAP proficiency in purchasing and materials management.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
  • Understanding of the different distribution channels for electronic components.
  • US Valid Visa

Role Description:

  • Responsible for all materials used by the assigned customer group in terms of quotations, cost control, savings, quality, delivery, reliability, and escalation management.
  • Acts as the primary contact on the purchasing side of the customer relationship.
  • Sources materials for customer projects, maximizes profitability, and manages supply chain escalations.
  • Serves as a dedicated buyer for specific customers and their projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using the MRP system (SAP), generate purchase orders to specific suppliers for required components.
  • Quote part of the material for RFQ packages for program, technical, and sales management, including sourcing of new items.
  • Request additional materials as needed to support production shortages, expedite requests, and address specific project or customer situations.
  • Maintain and update inventory levels for components "in stock," along with the weekly reorder report, open purchase order report, and shortage reports.
  • Manage supplier and customer relationships.
  • Maintain and update supplier information and literature.
  • Clarify and resolve component discrepancies and BOM errors.
  • Coordinate deliveries or invoice discrepancies with the receiving department and accounts payable.
  • Expedite overdue purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Send RFQs to suppliers to obtain the best pricing and lead times.
  • Maintain component information (pricing, discounts, minimum/multiple quantities, lead times, etc.) in the MRP system.
  • Perform previous production cost calculations and identify best pricing options (Material Cost Management).
  • Administer the supplier evaluation system for materials.
  • Maintain material traceability as required.
  • Follow the established processes within the global purchasing center.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
