We are seeking an accomplished Reservation and Operations Manager to lead and enhance our travel agencys booking and operational functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless travel experiences by optimizing reservation processes, liaising with suppliers, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest service standards. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a proven track record in the travel and tourism sector, possessing in-depth expertise in system and operations management. This role demands a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Reservations & System Management:

  • Lead the configuration and optimization of travel systems to align with corporate strategies and operational policies.
  • Collaborate with technology providers and internal IT teams to ensure seamless system functionality and integration.
  • Implement and oversee pricing structures to reflect senior managements strategic directives.
  • Ensure the timely generation, branding, and distribution of all travel documents (e-tickets, vouchers, confirmations).

Operations & Financial Coordination:

  • Work closely with Finance to guarantee accurate and timely invoicing for both suppliers and clients.
  • Generate and analyze reports on sales, capacity utilization, and contractual compliance to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee and maintain travel product inventories, ensuring rates, terms, and conditions are up-to-date and correctly displayed.
  • Monitor live product inventory (flights, hotels) and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Supervise product distribution across all sales channels, proactively identifying and addressing any inconsistencies.
  • Partner with Marketing and E-commerce teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of product descriptions and visuals.

Customer Service & Relationship Management:

  • Address and resolve escalated customer inquiries to uphold service excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing teams to tailor premium travel experiences.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies to enhance brand loyalty.
  • Continuously review client feedback and implement service improvements.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of air and hotel product administrators.
  • Establish and enforce best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Monitor performance metrics, implement growth strategies, and foster professional development.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer-centric service.

Technology & Data Management:

  • Oversee the effective deployment and utilization of reservation and travel management systems.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry best practices.
  • Stay at the forefront of technological advancements to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine business strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in travel operations and system management, with expertise in GDS platforms, hotel reservations, and inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of global travel regulations, visa processes, and airline ticketing.
  • Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and other travel management software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and drive operational success.
  • Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across multicultural teams and external stakeholders.
