The Role
As a Senior Software Developer at AspenTech, you will provide mentorship, solve complex problems, and manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will impact the direction of our front-end architecture, ensuring we deliver innovative and user-centric experiences across all our products with front-end best practices and a high standard of quality.

Your Impact

  • Work alongside an international team of talented people who are passionate about technology.

  • Develop and implement a robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to other Developers.
  • Actively contribute ideas for product improvements and solutions to technology and industry challenges.
  • Deliver clean code supporting consistent user experience and product quality.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with core technologies such as NodeJS, GitHub Actions, Webpack, Gradle, Nginx, MongoDB, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and/or JUnit.
  • 5+ years of experience with modern front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, , etc.), and web performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
  • Exposure to architectural design patterns of highly scaled web applications.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility challenges and client-side performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with RESTful API integration.
