Accounting Assistant.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting
  • Intermediate English required (Assessment required)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Basic Excel skills, Contpaqi Accounting
  • Experience with Odoo or another ERP system preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Bank Reconciliation
  • Accurate Accounting: Ensure that all cash inflows and outflows are assigned to the correct accounting account.
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable Management: Apply payments to invoices, manage self-invoices (Customer Credit Notes), and handle payments to suppliers.
  • You will manage the allocation of received payments, the processing of refunds, and the tracking of outstanding payments from our Shopify clients.
  • You will analyze payments from Shopify sales, breaking them down into Gross Sales, Returns, Shopify commissions, payment gateway commissions (Stripe, etc.), and taxes.
  • You will cross-reference data to ensure that bank deposits match Shopify sales reports.
  • You will actively identify and investigate any discrepancies in payments, fees, or taxes for correction.
  • You will be responsible for creating, managing, and accurately posting customer credit notes, ensuring they are correctly applied to the corresponding invoices.
