This Position reports to:

Quality Manager

Your role and responsibilities

This position plays a key role in the stability of production processes and the achievement of the area's quality objectives. Through technical analysis, operational leadership, and the use of quality tools, it contributes to continuous improvement and the strengthening of the safety and quality culture within the operation.
The position directly impacts the main quality performance indicators, ensuring sustainable operations aligned with the organization's standards.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Apodaca.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Provide on-line technical support to ensure operational continuity by promptly addressing quality and process issues.

  • Analyze and identify areas for improvement in the process using quality tools (8D, RCA, A3, etc.), ensuring the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions. 

  • Ensure compliance with and improvement of quality KPIs.

  • Represent the Voice of the Customer within the operation and ensure the correct interpretation of customer requirements.

  • Manage, coordinate, and develop quality inspectors

  • Actively participate in HSE activities, promoting a safety culture in the production area.

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and 5S to strengthen operational discipline.

  • Participate in internal and external ISO 9001:2015 & UL audits, ensuring proper attention to findings and action plans.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and other areas to address the needs of the production line and strengthen our processes.

  • Support the implementation and release of new products, validating processes, controls, and documentation.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electrical automation or related)

  • 5+ Years experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Continuous Improvement in a manufacturing environment

  • Problem Solving tools (8Ds, RCA, 6S, A3).

  • Experience in ISO Audit 9001:2015 & UL.

  • Advanced English.

  • Electrical background and electrical safety regulations knowledge (desirable)
