Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of preschool students.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement interdisciplinary learning experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents to share student progress and foster strong school-home partnerships.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain an organized, stimulating learning space.
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Participate actively in school events, professional development, and community-building activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience with preschool-aged children; IB experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude towards supporting young learners.
• English language proficiency; Spanish is an asset.
