Responsible for quality control of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, as well as handling customer complaints.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the certification of the departmental quality system.
  • Responsible for analyzing and rectifying non-conformities identified during customer audits.
  • Assist in the implementation and verification of departmental quality documents.
  • Responsible for the submission of new product documentation.
  • Responsible for confirming the production quality of new products.
  • Develop and implement the annual Measurement System Analysis (MSA) plan for gauges and inspection tools for new products.
  • Responsible for pre-project quality tasks, interfacing with R&D/Process teams to digest and interpret their specifications.
  • Responsible for preparing pre-project quality control documents, analyzing data, and participating in the establishment of pre-project quality inspection standards.
  • Organize cross-departmental meetings to coordinate analysis and resolution of quality issues during early-stage development and trial production.
  • Responsible for compiling internal non-conforming product records during product trial production.
  • Responsible for the internal quality improvement plan in the early stages of the product.
  • Consolidate and analyze monthly quality reports.
  • Conduct daily statistical analysis of early-stage production line abnormalities and develop control plans.
  • Lead the response to early-stage external customer quality complaints, organize relevant departments to respond quickly to customers, investigate causes, and implement improvements.
  • Provide early-stage process development-related documentation and control the quality of samples.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • 4+ years' of automotive industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry
  • Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
  • Proficient in IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, and 8D analysis.
