Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Jr Associate - Private Equity based in Mexico City, Mexico. The role involves supporting deal origination, conducting financial and market analyses, managing due diligence processes, and preparing investment proposals and reports. The Jr Associate will also monitor portfolio performance, liaise with stakeholders, and collaborate on strategies to enhance investment returns. Flexible work-from-home days are available in accordance with the company's hybrid work model.

Qualifications

  • Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and valuation skills
  • Proficiency in investment research, due diligence, and market evaluation
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, work collaboratively, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of private equity, venture capital, and other alternative investments
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA or CAIA are a plus
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interest in the private equity landscape and the investment ecosystem in Mexico
