Essential Duties Include The Following
- Performs Software Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing through validation and reconciliation testing to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with system and business requirements.
- Produces data sets and reports for analysis using SQL, Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Documents process workflows by maintaining processes, applying, and documenting fixes, and ensuring ongoing monitoring and maintenance of implemented solutions.
- Collaborates with functional teams to define, document, and review data validation strategy and test plans based on business requirements and system functionality.
- Coordinates and performs data validation, ensuring that all tests are conducted according to the test plan.
- Drives process improvements in data validation, UAT, and PPV methodologies based on lessons learned and feedback from stakeholders.
- Ensures that the product is validated and is ready for deployment.
- Tracks and documents any defects or issues identified during validations.
- Coordinates with technical staff to identify root cause, work-arounds, and/or if remediation is needed.
- Creates necessary work items needed to address issues.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Serious Candidates Will Possess The Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business or related field of study from an accredited college or university required or equivalent experience in an Information Technology, Insurance, or Financial Services environment.
- Preferred one to two (1-2) years of experience in business testing and acceptance providing end user technical support for business applications, or related experience in an Information Technology, Insurance, or Financial Services environment.
- Basic understanding of and the ability to utilize business system analysis, modeling, design and documentation techniques, and testing methodologies.
- Proficient computer and accurate keyboard skills in utilizing computer applications such as MS Word and Excel with preferred SQL and VB knowledge.
- Proficient organizational & planning, multi-tasking, collecting, and analyzing data, and managing priorities and deadlines skills.
- Proficient critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate and interact effectively via verbal and written communications.
- Able to understand and apply business vision and direction.
- Able to work collaboratively and build relationships.
- Able to type 35 WPM.
- Able to sit for extended periods of time performing sedentary activities.
- Able to push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items.
