Job Posting Title: Oracle EBS Finance Techno-Functional Senior Consultant

Location: Mexico, remote.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Application Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day application support.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle EBS Finance modules and Mexico localization features.
  • Attend customer meetings and translate functional requirements effectively.
  • Provide on-call support for P1 issues, adhering to SLAs.

Localization & Compliance (Mexico)

  • Ensure compliance with Mexican tax, statutory, and fiscal regulations, including:

CFDI (Comprobante Fiscal Digital por Internet) electronic invoicing

  • SAT requirements and validation
  • Localization patches and regulatory updates
  • Withholding tax configurations
  • Collaborate with customer finance, tax, and local compliance teams.
  • Support month-end and year-end closure activities specific to Mexican finance laws.

Team & Coordination

  • Lead/mentor junior team members and allocate tasks.
  • Coordinate with business users, Oracle support, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist in patching, change requests, enhancements, and integration debugging.Maintain SOPs, KEDB, RCA reports and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Functional Skills

  • 10+ years in Oracle EBS Finance techno-functional roles.
  • Hands-on experience with modules:

GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Purchasing, Project Accounting, iExpense / iReceivables / iSupplier Strong understanding of Mexico localization (CFDI, SAT, Tax Rules).

  • Knowledge of statutory reports, withholding tax, electronic invoicing formats, etc.

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of PL/SQL, XML Publisher, Unix/shell scripting.
  • Ability to analyze/debug seeded and custom concurrent programs.
  • Exposure to SOA/web services/bank integrations will be an advantage.

Language & Communication

  • Spanish-speaking (professional level preferred).
  • English proficiency must be good for interaction with global teams.
  • Ability to engage with finance users and explain functional impacts clear

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with Mexico-based clients/users.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP vs. Mexico statutory differences.
  • ITIL certification or support model experience.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Finance is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and in distributed teams.
  • Proactive approach in identifying risks and proposing solutions.
