We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our applications. In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual test cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.
What You Will Do:
Execute manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications to validate functionality, usability, and reliabilityReview product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenariosIdentify, document, and track defects clearly and accurately using defect tracking toolsPerform smoke, sanity, regression, and exploratory testing as neededCollaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to resolve issuesValidate bug fixes and ensure defects are resolved without introducing regressionsParticipate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and QA reviewsMaintain and update test cases, test plans, and test documentationEnsure applications meet quality standards before releaseYour knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Strong understanding of manual QA testing methodologies and best practicesExperience testing web-based and/or mobile applicationsAbility to write clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases and bug reportsFamiliarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, etc.)Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to identify edge casesOnly Resumes in English will be consideredWhy VEscapeLabs?
