Position: Accounting & Finance Assistant

Location: Puebla

Type of job: Full time / presential.

Reports to: Finance Manager

Position Summary

To support the Finance and Administration departments of Ultimate Solar Advanced Technology (USAT) in the management, control, and analysis of accounting, financial, and banking information, with a particular focus on industrial operations, solar energy projects, international trade, and relationships with national and international financial institutions.

This position is designed as a development and growth role, providing direct exposure to real corporate financial processes within the energy and manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the recording and control of financial and accounting operations related to:

  • Solar energy projects.
  • Industrial and manufacturing operations.
  • Imports, logistics, and international payments.

2. Follow up on banking operations, including:

  • Domestic and international wire transfers.
  • Payment control for local and international suppliers.
  • Bank reconciliations.

3.Assist in the preparation of financial and administrative reports for management.

4. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, including international vendors.

5. Support invoicing processes, expense control, and contract administration.

6. Maintain organized financial, banking, and administrative documentation (physical and digital).

7. Assist in preparing information for internal, external, and tax audits.

8. Support basic communication with banks, suppliers, logistics agents, and internal departments.

9. Assist in financial planning activities, budgeting, and project cost control.

10. Use digital tools for financial analysis and information control (Excel, ERP systems, banking platforms).

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree completed or in the process of completion in:

  • Accounting
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Engineering with a financial/administrative focus
  • Related fields

Experience: Internship or professional practice experience in:

  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Administration
  • International trade
  • Energy or industrial sectors is a plus.

Technical Knowledge

  • General accounting (basic knowledge).
  • Financial administration (basic knowledge).
  • Banking operations (basic knowledge).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Electronic invoicing (basic knowledge preferred).
  • Bank reconciliations (basic knowledge preferred).
  • Budget control (basic knowledge preferred).
  • International payments and transfers (basic knowledge preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP or administrative systems is a plus.

Languages

  • Intermediate to advanced English (mandatory).
  • Ability to read and write professional emails.
  • Understanding of financial documents, contracts, and invoices in English.
  • Basic professional communication with international suppliers or institutions.
