Overview

The Marketing Account Specialist is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the successful execution of digital marketing campaigns across all service areas. This role serves as the communication bridge between clients and the GOA-TECH internal teams, overseeing task creation, project coordination, approvals, and performance reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing multiple campaigns simultaneously — ensuring each client receives consistent communication, organized deliverables, and measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Project Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Conduct onboarding, manage communications, and coordinate regular meetings.
  • Ensure all project tasks are created, assigned, and completed on schedule.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports and maintain detailed campaign records.
  • Set recurring meetings for clients requesting monthly reviews.

SEO

  • Oversee title and keyword selection for each client's campaigns.
  • Create and assign SEO-related tasks to the SEO team for execution.
  • Review deliverables for quality and alignment with strategy.
  • Deliver monthly SEO reports within the first week of the following month.

PowerListings

  • Manage and update business listings, including hours, location, and staff imagery.
  • Ensure all directory profiles remain consistent and optimized for visibility.
  • Coordinate any changes or updates with the client as needed.

Social Media Management

  • Create monthly content calendars, research trends, and write captions.
  • Assign graphic tasks to the design team and review posts for accuracy and branding.
  • Submit posts for review to the Director of Marketing prior to scheduling.
  • Schedule posts only after client approval has been received.

Email Marketing

  • Draft copy and structure for each eblast or newsletter.
  • Send copy for approval to the Director of Marketing prior to task creation.
  • Coordinate with the design team for visual elements and review all materials before final submission.
  • Once client approval is obtained, schedule and deploy campaigns.

Social Media & Google Advertising

  • Develop campaign copy and targeting strategy for both social and Google Ads.
  • Submit copy and strategy to the Director of Marketing for approval.
  • Create related tasks for the ads team, review deliverables, and ensure final approval before launch.
  • Monitor campaign progress and prepare monthly reports with performance insights.

Reporting

  • Prepare and send monthly performance reports for all active services (SEO, Social Media, PowerListings, Email, and Ads).
  • Reports must be submitted within the first week of the new month.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing account management or client services.
  • Understanding of SEO, paid ads, email marketing, and social media best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Zoho Projects, ClickUp, Asana).
  • Ability to handle multiple clients and meet strict deadlines.
