Primary Objective:
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Software team to develop our customer-facing fleet management platform to help fleets optimize their operations. As a key part of our lean and agile software team, you will be involved in all aspects of the development process including architecting the design, developing applications, testing and deployment. You will also have the opportunity to engage with management, product development team and marketing to collaborate on product strategy, design and features.
We're looking for someone who's looking to make an immediate impact by both developing technology and building our software team in one of the fastest growing companies in the mobility solutions industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to all aspects of the end-to-end development process including architecting, developing, reviewing, testing, and deploying key applications and technologies.Build aesthetic and modern user interfaces that blow away the legacy platform products that are widely used in the trucking industry today.Apply software engineering best practices to create a solid foundation for product scale and expansion as well as increase the reliability and maintainability of our code base.Collaborate cross-functionally to define features and functionality that improve the customer experience and add value.Proactively seek out areas within the organization to apply technology to create greater effectiveness and efficiencies.Qualifications:
3+ years experience in front-end and back-end software development, preferably at a high growth technology company.Experience building fast, reliable and scalable web applications and/or SaaS platforms with modern Javascript frameworks and tooling (e.g. React, Vue, Angular, typescript, etc.).Experience with .NET Core.Experience with containers (Docker preferred).A strong foundation of design principles, especially as it relates to platform development (API, data modeling, scale, etc.).Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth entrepreneurial environment.Preferred (Big Plus)
Knowledge of C/C++Understanding of AWS IoT Core services and MQTTExperience dealing with time series data
