Accounting & Intercompany Specialist (Senior Level)

Join a global leader in mobility solutions currently undergoing a profound strategic transformation. We are looking for a high-level professional to lead the efficiency of processes and systems that identify, invoice, and document intercompany transactions. This role is critical for ensuring accounting, legal, and tax compliance, as well as the correct elimination of intercompany operations for financial consolidation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Tax & Compliance:
    Partner with the tax area to ensure transfer pricing compliance and maintain documentary evidence supporting the necessity of expenses.
  • Policy Development:
    Provide support, maintenance, and development of Finance policies and procedures related to intercompany processes.
  • International Liaison:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for the USA corporate headquarters regarding intercompany processes carried out by Mexican related parties.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting:
    Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and confirm accounts receivable/payable balances.
  • Dispute Resolution:
    Investigate and resolve differences between related parties in a timely manner.
  • Treasury Collaboration:
    Oversee AP/AR between related parties and work closely with Treasury to settle balances and reduce foreign exchange exposure.
  • Strategic Support:
    Assist in preparing transfer pricing studies and BEPS reports, and support the launch of new business initiatives through integrated process design.

Candidate Profile

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A Master's degree is considered a plus.
  • Experience:
    4 to 5 years of experience in intercompany accounting. Experience in a
    Big Four
    firm (Deloitte, E&Y, KPMG, or PwC) is required.
  • Language Skills:
    Advanced English proficiency.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in ERPs such as
    SAP, BAAN, or PeopleSoft
    .
  • Experience with
    FCCS
    and financial consolidation tools
  • Basic knowledge of
    Python, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
    for data analysis and automation.
  • Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of
    IFRS/US GAAP
    and basic tax knowledge in transfer pricing.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary:
    $40,000 to $46,000 MXN gross per month.
  • Annual Bonus:
    10% of annual salary based on performance and company policy.
  • Savings & Retirement:
    13% Savings Fund (legal cap) and a Pension Plan (after 1 year of seniority).
  • Insurance:
    Major Medical Expenses Insurance ($700k coverage) and Life Insurance (48 to 96 months of base salary).
  • Paid Time Off:
    33 days of Christmas bonus (Aguinaldo) and a 100% vacation premium.
  • On-site Perks:
    Access to the company cafeteria.

Work Environment:

  • Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • Location:
    Monterrey, Mexico.
  • Modality:
    Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day home office).

Note: A move to new offices is planned for January 2026, with the possibility of transitioning to a 100% on-site model.
