GL WORKING is looking for your talent for the following position:

The purpose of this position is to be responsible for key aspects of the company's cost accounting functions, including period-end closing, financial reporting and audits. This role interfaces with multiple functional groups, including managers/leaders across the organization and is considered a key liaison for the Accounting department as well as across Finance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a focus on cost accounting and inventory.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
  • SAP experience is a must (CO, FI & MM modules).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • SOX compliance experience required.
  • Advanced English level mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and inventory reporting.
  • Conduct standard and detailed cost rolls for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
  • Support internal financial reporting for Finance, Controllership, and Portfolio leaders, especially related to cost accounting.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on physical inventory and adjustments.
  • Participate in external audits and quarterly review processes, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements (Local, Tax, and US GAAP).
  • Prepare and reconcile slow-moving and obsolete inventory as needed.
  • Develop SAP capabilities and functionalities for cost accounting within the organization.
