About the Client

The client is a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that helps businesses grow their online presence through data-driven strategies. Their expertise spans across paid media, SEO, content marketing, and marketing automation, supporting clients from diverse industries in achieving measurable results.

About the Role

The client is seeking a SEO Specialist to execute and report on comprehensive SEO efforts that drive organic traffic and improve visibility. This role is highly hands-on and reports directly to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously while delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy:

  • Run keyword research/mapping and implement strategies to improve rankings, visibility and organic traffic.
  • Craft link-building and backlink strategies to improve domain authority
  • Audit current and prospective client websites.

Content Creation & Optimization:

  • Optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and content structure, ensuring all changes are aligned with SEO best practices.
  • Highlight technical SEO improvements, including page speed optimization, mobile-friendliness, and URL structure.
  • Develop content outlines for blogs and service/product/industry page copy that is brand-aligned and boosts traffic.

Quality Control:

  • Make sure SEO content is correctly uploaded to our clients' websites and is compliant with applicable policies and best practices; fix or flag issues as appropriate.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on SEO performance.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of our strategies and content,then provide actionable insights.
  • Stay informed on organic traffic trends and best practices, with a special focus on LLM-driven traffic.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience managing and optimizing SEO including on-page and off-page for service-based and eCommerce websites.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Search Console).
  • Hands-on experience with local SEO (Google Business Profile, local listings).
  • Excellent communication and client-facing presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Nice to Have

  • Previous agency experience.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
