Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City, Mexico, for a Gallery Manager. The Gallery Manager will oversee daily operations, assist in curating exhibitions, and ensure seamless visitor experiences. Responsibilities include coordinating with artists, organizing events, engaging with clients, managing gallery inventory, and executing sales plans. The role will also involve maintaining external partnerships and contributing to the promotion of the gallery's mission.

Qualifications

• 2 years Experience in arts management, curating exhibitions, and coordinating with artists and vendors.
• Proficiency in communication and negotiation with clients and partners, and managing and organizing events.
• Strong skills in sales strategy, inventory management, and administrative tasks.
• Passion for art, particularly Latin American art and culture, with a deep understanding of current art trends.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment and adapt to the dynamic nature of gallery management.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English for effective communication.
• A bachelor's degree in Art History, Business Administration, Cultural Management, or related fields is preferred.
