QMS Engineer

Position Summary
Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the plant's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with international standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO45001 etc.) and customer-specific requirements. This role leads the continuous improvement of quality and environmental management processes to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality and environmental management system procedures and documentation.
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely follow-up and closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, standards, and customer-specific quality requirements.
- Manage QMS performance indicators (KPIs, objectives, and overall system performance).
- Provide training to employees on quality, environmental standards, and continuous improvement tools.
- Oversee document control activities, including creation, revision, and management of system documents and records.
- Participate in supplier audits and support the evaluation and approval of new suppliers.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, analyzing gaps, and driving process optimization initiatives.
Requirements and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 45001 preferred).
- Strong knowledge of auditing, FMEA/AMEF, PPAP, APQP, and continuous improvement tools.
- Strong analytical capability, technical leadership, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, auditing tools, and document management systems.
