Ansell is looking for an Intern to join our team in Queretaro

The Supply Chain Intern will support regional planning, inventory coordination, replenishment activities, and reporting across multiple teams. This role provides hands-on experience in supply chain operations, demand planning, and customer service within a dynamic, multicultural environment.

What your role will be?

1. Internal Customer & Stakeholder Support

• Assist with communicating product availability and lead times to regional teams.
• Participate in supply calls and help gather required information for stakeholders.
• Support inquiries on inventory availability by retrieving and validating data from various systems.
• Follow up on constrained or out-of-stock items with upstream supply chain partners.
• Help prepare customer-specific reports (inventory, service levels, backorders).
• Support the maintenance of planning parameters in the ERP system for Make-to-Order products.

2. Replenishment & Inventory Coordination

• Collaborate with teams in logistics, warehousing, and planning.
• Assist in monitoring inventory rotation and stock levels across local warehouses.
• Support the coordination of inter-warehouse transfers and "milk runs."
• Track shipments in transit and flag any changes to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with demand planning on managing abnormal demand cases.
• Assist in supply disruption mitigation with customer service and SBU supply teams.
• Support product rework processes such as relabeling, repackaging, or sample batching.
• Help provide insights for intercompany air freight requests.
• Contribute to monthly inventory-related financial processes.
• Support coordination of direct shipments by maintaining accurate and visible data.

3. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Assist planners with data collection, analysis, and the creation of metrics or reports.
• Support continuous improvement activities through insights or process automation.
• Help develop and document new processes or improvements.
• Participate in creating simple automated tools or templates for stakeholders.

4. Demand Planning Support

• Contribute to forecast uploads and adjustments.
• Assist in trend analysis and identifying potential opportunities within demand planning.

What will you bring to Ansell?

Education

• Currently pursuing a university degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to supply or demand planning (academic or internship experience).
• Experience working with customers or cross‑functional teams.
• Familiarity with multinational environments is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic understanding of ERP systems (knowledge of planning modules is a plus).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Interest in supply chain, planning, and process improvement.
