The Role
We are looking for Software SDET – II, responsible for design and develop automated tests for systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based, mobile, or internet-related tools.
What You'll Do
Understand product requirements and participate in the creation of test cases and then execute the tests and document the results in Agile delivery teams.
Participate in test case reviews, participate in design discussion with product teams, provide testing level of effort estimation, participate in troubleshooting activities for products and systems and Document and report defects and issues related to products and systems
Leverage existing test frameworks to create automated test cases to provide continuous coverage. Adjust and modify automated test cases according to requirements.
Execute test automation, compile results, and analyze potential failures.
What You'll Bring
Must have:
Bachelor of Technology in related field and 3+ years of technical experience as an SDE/T or similar role
3+ years of applied professional experience in an object orientated programming language
Experience in doing manual testing which includes manual test cases creation and execution, defect management.
Experience developing or automation test scripting in .NET or Java.
Experience developing automation tests using technologies like Appium and Selenium libraries.
Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling test automation frameworks with a focus on extensibility, scalability, maintainability, and high performance.
Understanding of testing strategies and processes.
Prior work experience of working in Agile SDLC.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively across all levels.
Ability to take a proactive, problem-solving/trouble-shooting approach to identifying and solving problems.
Nice to have:
Experience implementing software test automation into ci/cd process (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernettes, Linux OS).
Experience with microservice architecture.
Experience designing and implementing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
Experience with Backend testing (API testing) and SQL.
Experience Jenkins or other CICD tools.
