EL Sales Support Manager - Pre-Sales
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process by adapting ABB's products with customer applications to meet their requirements/specifications. Each day, you will select optimized products and technology for adaptation, prepare relevant documentation, and serve as a key technical resource for the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking.

This role is contributing to the
ELDS Proposals
in Mexico. Main stakeholders are US Sales.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Read, comprehend and analyze customer's specifications to develop a:
- ANSI/IEC Low Voltage Switchgears and Motor Control Centers.
- ANSI/IEC Medium Voltage Switchgears and Motor Control Centers (including Primary, Secondary and GIS)
- Optional/Preferred background in: Packaging, Services, Bus Duct, electrification & distribution systems.
Get best prices from third party suppliers.
Think & Propose best solution in our products to customer.
Interact & negotiate among sales, engineering and operations to build final offer.
Active help to meet Business Unit orders budget and meet Business Unit required margins.
Active participation on product improvements in collaboration with Product Management.
Seek, develop and execute enhancements within the area.
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience in developing electrical proposals, particularly with ANSI/IEC Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Switchgears and Motor Control Centers (including Primary, Secondary, and GIS systems). Experience with Medium Voltage OEMs is a plus.
- Familiarity with packaging, services, bus duct systems, electrification, and distribution systems is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Programming skills such as Macros, Java, PowerApps, or SharePoint development are highly valued.
- English proficiency at a minimum of 80% (conversational level) to effectively communicate with US sales and international teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information. Ability to negotiate and collaborate across sales, engineering, and operations.
