Job Description
As a Senior Indirect Buyer
, you will be responsible for managing indirect procurement to ensure the efficient sourcing of goods and services required for the company's operations. Your daily responsibilities will include negotiating with suppliers, identifying cost-saving opportunities, conducting cost analyses, and reviewing and evaluating contracts to optimize resources. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our facilities in
Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato
.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in indirect or strategic buying.
- Previous experience and solid knowledge of indirect purchasing processes, commercial negotiation, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate proposals, perform cost analyses, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in technological tools and procurement systems, as well as advanced knowledge of spreadsheets and management software.
- Previous experience in the industry and knowledge of the Mexican market is highly valued, along with the ability to develop innovative purchasing strategies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, engineering, and other departments.
