ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dependable Accounting Assistant to support our internal accounting operations. This role is focused on the accurate execution of daily accounting tasks, including transaction recording, payment processing, and account reconciliations.

This position is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who enjoys structured work, values precision, and prefers an operational, behind-the-scenes role within a finance team. Training and guidance will be provided by a senior team member, with opportunities to strengthen technical accounting skills over time.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

  • Support daily accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
  • Review, validate, and record invoices and supporting documentation
  • Assist with payment processing (ACH, wire transfers, checks)
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Record transactions accurately in the accounting system
  • Post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
  • Ensure proper classification of expenses and transactions
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues for review
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Support month-end activities through accurate and timely data entry
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accounting accuracy and consistency

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Advanced English skills (B2-C2)
  • 2–3 years of experience in an accounting support, bookkeeping, or finance operations role
  • Practical understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
  • Experience working with AP and AR processes
  • Exposure to general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Ability to understand basic financial statements, including balance sheets
  • Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
