DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

JOB OBJECTIVE

Plan, coordinate, and supervise the school's administrative and maintenance operations, ensuring safe and efficient facilities, regulatory compliance, and high-quality support services. Lead key areas such as health and safety, contract management, logistics, and projects, guaranteeing cost-effective operations and high standards across all non-academic functions.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:


•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
•Advanced level of English.
•

Knowledge:


•Comprehensive resource management.
•Regulatory compliance and maintenance.
•Budget control and use of technological tools.
•Strategic leadership, operational planning, effective communication, negotiation, organization, and crisis management.
•

Experience:


•5 to 7 years in school operations, facilities management, and health and safety leadership.
•Experience in purchasing management, supplier negotition, and large-scale operational projects

Key Responsibilities


•Design and implement administrative strategies aligned with institutional objectives.
•Supervise purchasing, contracts, and budgeting processes, ensuring efficiency and transparency.
•Coordinate facility maintenance to guarantee safe and functional spaces.
•Ensure regulatory compliance in health, safety, and operational standards.
•Lead support teams and coordinate services such as transportation, catering, and events.
•Manage projects, optimize resources, and promote best practices.
•Oversee external contractors and ensure service quality.
•Implement health and safety programs, including training sessions and drills.
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated, service-oriented operations.

WORK CONDITIONSMonday to Thursday: 08:00 to 16:00 hrs; Friday: 08:00 to 14:00 hrs.

Location: The position requires working across the Esmeralda, Satelite, and Preschool campuses.
