FBS Solutions Engineer

Job Summary

This position collaborates with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver technical solutions that support complex business initiatives. The role acts as a knowledgeable resource to provide systems-level views of technology and devise technical solutions aligned with business objectives. It focuses on enhancing solution design, optimizing development processes, and effectively implementing CI/CD pipelines to deliver impactful solutions that meet business needs. The position ensures technology delivery is successful within lines of business and across the enterprise. It performs work independently while receiving limited guidance or direction.

Main Responsibilities

•Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.

•Translate business requirements into technical solutions for development teams.

•Design solution architecture and create detailed architecture diagrams.

•Works closely with cross-functional and external teams to resolve dependencies and provide technical clarifications.

•Guide development teams by providing technical direction and ensuring alignment with architectural standards.

•Mentors others, works in dotted line and with cross functional teams, Farmers employers, contractors.

•Overall, 10 years of experience as a solutions engineer working with Architecture for Angular/ Java / NodeJS  (MUST)

•Mobile applications (Swift and Kotlin) Desirable

•Strong understanding of solution architecture and system design principles.

•Experience with native mobile application development (iOS, Android) is a plus.

•Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration best practices.

•Strong expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure or GCP is a plus).

Skills

•Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.

•Agile methodology experience (Scrum/Kanban). (preferred)

•Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with business and technical teams.

•Solution Architecture – Advanced (Must)

•Angular – Advance (Must)

•IntelliJ - Intermediate (4-6 Years) (Must)
