Medical Appointment Setter / Scheduler – Fully Remote | Latin America

Position: Full-Time

Location: Fully Remote – Open only to candidates based in Latin America

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST

Rate: USD $5.00 – $7.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Overview

We are seeking a Medical Appointment Setter / Scheduler to join our team and support a U.S.-based healthcare provider. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a professional phone manner, and experience managing patient appointments efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and emails from patients to schedule or reschedule appointments.
  • Coordinate with physicians, clinics, and medical staff to confirm availability and maintain accurate schedules.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of patient information into scheduling systems.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
  • Follow HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines when handling patient information.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional English-speaking communication skills (native-level fluency highly preferred).
  • Previous experience in appointment scheduling is required.
  • Prior experience scheduling medical appointments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace suitable for professional calls.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology or EHR systems is a plus.
