Position Description – Senior ServiceNow Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior ServiceNow Developer
to join our team and support the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade solutions on the
ServiceNow
platform.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strong understanding of ITSM processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Role Details

  • Employment Type:
    Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Work Schedule:
    Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Holiday Schedule:
    United States holidays
  • Contract Duration:
    12 months (estimated)
  • Language Requirement:
    Advanced English
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows aligned with business and IT objectives.
  • Develop and maintain custom ServiceNow components (Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Scripts, Client Scripts, Notifications).
  • Design, build, and support integrations via REST and SOAP APIs with external systems.
  • Configure, enhance, and maintain core ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog).
  • Ensure solutions comply with security standards, governance policies, and ITIL best practices.
  • Plan and execute platform upgrades ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Gather requirements with ITSM process owners and stakeholders; translate into technical specifications.
  • Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for ServiceNow issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams to deliver projects on time.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex ServiceNow implementations in large-scale or enterprise environments.

  • Proven ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability and ownership.
  • Experience operating in international, distributed teams and supporting US-based business operations.
