About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead to guide a team of developers in building impactful software solutions. This role involves hands-on coding, mentoring, and contributing to project planning and execution. You'll help shape technical direction, support team growth, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for technical issues within your team.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to finalize requirements.
• Write and review technical specifications and code for moderately complex systems.
• Resolve advanced bugs and technical challenges.
• Translate product requirements into effective software designs.
• Promote best practices in development, including code reviews and testing.
• Work in Agile, Kanban, or other development environments.
• Mentor and support junior engineers in their growth.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Design and manage complex data models.
• Lead team operations including hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering innovation.
• Encourage accountability, continuous learning, and inclusive collaboration.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Reside in Mexico City and available to work onsite 2–4 days per week.
• Proficient in object-oriented programming (.NET/C# and JavaScript).
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Skilled in test-driven development and working with complex data models.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage technical resources.
• Strong planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator across diverse audiences and organizational levels.
