The Supply Chain Manager will oversee and optimize all aspects of the supply chain within a manufacturing environment, including planning, shipping, purchasing, inventory management, and import/export programs.

This poistion will also lead and manage the supply chain team, ensuring efficient operations, fostering a culture of collaboration, and continuously improving processes to meet organizational goals. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective flow of materials and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Forecast demand and production schedules to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Optimize inventory levels to reduce costs while maintaining necessary stock for production.
  • Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished products.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality standards, delivery times, and pricing are met.
  • Identify new suppliers and materials that can improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Oversee inventory control systems to track stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Implement best practices for inventory storage, handling, and stock rotation.
  • Conduct regular audits and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Manage and optimize warehouse operations to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Oversee shipping and transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery of finished products to customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Optimize shipping routes and freight costs to reduce expenses while meeting customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all shipping and customs regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the company's import and export processes, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate international shipments, including documentation, tariffs, customs clearance, and transportation.
  • Maintain knowledge of global trade regulations and ensure adherence to international trade laws.
  • Build relationships with customs brokers and international suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, ensuring high levels of engagement, performance, and skill development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching for team members.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped to handle their responsibilities, offering opportunities for ongoing development.
  • Promote a safety-first culture within the team and ensure all safety regulations and standards are adhered to in daily operations.
  • Analyze supply chain data and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost savings, and process optimization.
  • Develop and present regular performance reports to senior management on key supply chain metrics, including inventory turnover, lead times, and cost savings.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and resolve supply chain challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on mentoring, training, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, procurement, and import/export operations.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software (SAP and Warehouse Management).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Skills:

  • Experience with international supply chain operations and trade compliance.
  • Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CPIM, CSCP).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50, $80,000.00 per month
