About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer
to join a dynamic team supporting a
major pharmaceutical client
in Guadalajara. This is a
contractor position for 6 months
, with potential extension based on performance and project needs.

The selected candidate will provide
technical leadership and hands-on development
within a complex, multi-site
eCommerce environment
, focusing on
Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
enhancements, integrations, and production stability. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Integration) to ensure scalability, performance, and continuous improvement of digital commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide
    L2–L3 technical support
    for SFCC applications, including root cause analysis, cartridge deployment, and defect resolution.
  2. Develop and maintain
    custom cartridges, APIs, and integrations
    aligned with business requirements.
  3. Partner with QA, DevOps, and integration teams to ensure
    stable CI/CD pipelines
    (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  4. Conduct
    code reviews
    , enforce coding standards, and promote best practices across the team.
  5. Troubleshoot production incidents using tools like
    Splunk
    and
    Dynatrace
    , and recommend preventive actions.
  6. Support
    performance optimization, caching strategies
    , and scalability improvements.
  7. Participate in
    sprint planning, estimation, and release validation
    for ongoing enhancements.
  8. Drive
    continuous improvement
    initiatives through automation and technical optimizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience
    in
    Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
    development and support.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in
    SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, Business Manager, OCAPI, SLAS
    , and custom cartridge development.
  • Experience with
    headless commerce
    , REST APIs, and third-party service integrations.
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins)
    and cloud deployments (
    GCP, AWS
    ).
  • Understanding of
    microservices architecture
    and
    CDN optimization (Akamai)
    .
  • Excellent communication skills in
    English (advanced level required)
    and Spanish.

Bonus Skills

  • Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Cloud Developer or Architect.
  • Experience with
    MuleSoft
    or
    Order Management System (OMS)
    integrations.
  • Exposure to
    Agile methodologies
    and
    ITIL-based production support
    environments.
