Summary: VES is looking for an SAP Logistics Analyst to join our team in Matamoros, Tamaulipas location. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
  • Analyze business requirements across logistics and supply chain functions and design SAP-based solutions, especially in SD, MM, and WHM. 
  • Configure and enhance SAP logistics modules to meet operational needs, particularly in manufacturing scenarios. 
  • Lead and contribute to SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and S/4HANA migration projects. 
  • Ensure smooth integration of logistics processes with adjacent modules such as FI, PP, QM, and CO. 
  • Deliver solutions supporting key manufacturing processes including: 
  • Subcontracting (including third-party processing and consumption posting) 
  • Goods receipt and inventory movements 
  • Batch management, serial number tracking, and shelf-life expiration 
  • Procurement workflows and approval hierarchies 
  • Inventory reconciliation and warehouse stock transparency 
  • Inter-plant transfers, consignment stock, and return processes 
  • Provide expert-level support for SD, MM, and WHM modules, ensuring continuity of supply chain and logistics operations. 
  • Resolve incidents and system issues with minimal disruption to users and business operations. 
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, integration, and Basis teams for ongoing system stability and performance tuning. 
  • Partner with business teams across procurement, production, warehousing, sales, and finance to ensure SAP processes align with operational requirements. 
  • Support process harmonization across regions and business units. 
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams for functional specification and solution delivery. 
  • Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and process manuals. 
  • Train end-users and key users on new functionality, processes, and best practices. 
  • Support testing, user acceptance, and deployment phases of changes and projects. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes using standard SAP functionality. 
  • Recommend enhancements and system features that improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. 
  • Stay current with SAP roadmap, especially logistics innovations in S/4HANA, EWM, and embedded analytics. 
Education and/or Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP logistics modules with a track record of successful implementations and support. 
  • SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, etc.) are highly desirable. 
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Service Desk Teams: Provide end-user support and escalate SAP issues appropriately. 
  • Infrastructure and Network Teams: Ensure smooth SAP environment operations.
